Supervision
‘If you want to support others you have to stay upright yourself’
What I offer
I’m a Leeds based Supervisor, working in a well established private practice and trained in the Practice of Supervision, through an Integrative model. I offer a non-judgemental, holistic approach to you and your work from a humanistic, relational/psychodynamic perspective.
I work respectfully and collaboratively, as ally rather than expert, recognising we are both learning within our supervisory relationship. However, we’re always working in the best interest of your clients, you and your professional development. I believe given a safe, non-judgemental space, support and at times gentle guidance and encouragement, to explore all aspects of your professional life in an embodied way, the appropriate path forward for you within your work with clients will emerge.
Main areas of interest/experience
Trauma, [C]PTSD, Neurodiversity, Existential Crisis, LGBTQI+ identities/lifestyles, HIV & Cancer diagnosis.
What to expect
When you contact me, we’ll arrange a time to meet face to face or online via zoom for a free 30 – 40 minute introductory session. During this initial meeting, it’ll give you time to share a little of your education/modality, areas of expertise and what you hope for and need from our supervision and I will talk about and model how I might work alongside you. Prior to that meeting, if we choose to meet online, I’ll send you a link to the zoom session with other information, including a supervision agreement for you to familiarise yourself with. If we feel we can work effectively together, we’ll discuss and sign our supervision agreement.
